Disillusioned by World political events, The Social Surgeons came into being. The project's initial premise was to write & record a song as well as creating a film clip all within the one day. The first two singles 'Tony Abbott is a Cunt!' and 'Oh I Pine for the end of Pyne" highlighted the idiocies of politicians of the day.

Soon after, The Social Surgeons were benefacted the use of a studio for a night where they recorded this debut album. Since then they have released the singles 'Dangerous Times', 'Landlord' & 'Facebook is _ _ ?' The album release date coincides with the most disturbing US presidential election in history. The Social Surgeons dissect the idiocies and impact of the extreme right as well as the politics of everyday life.
